Position Summary

Project Managers are key members of our Client
Service team, serving as the client advocate and laboratory liaison. By
building a strong working relationships with our clients and our technical
staff, Project Managers guide the successful completion of clients projects
from first contact (e. g., requests for quotes & sample kits), through the
lab (e. g., analytical details & status), to final deliverables and
invoicing.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Build and maintain strong working
    relationships with clients so you are their main point of contact for all
    analytical laboratory services.
  • Develop trust by providing timely responses to
    all client inquiries, whether by phone or email,
  • Provide technical support by reviewing project
    requirements and final reports to verify we meet the client s needs.
  • Document and execute client requests including
    bottle orders, tracking samples, LIMS login, change orders, etc.
  • Accurately and thoroughly review of all LIMS
    logins, including preliminary invoicing and subcontracting COCs.
  • Promote a positive, Can do! attitude and a
    safe working environment.
  • Take initiative in all we do and perform other
    duties as required to further SGS Accutest s mission of service, quality
    and growth.
SUPERVISION

Receive very general
guidance with respect to overall objectives; work is usually quite independent
of others; operate within division or department policy guidelines using
independent judgment in achieving assigned objectives.

Qualifications
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor Degree (BA/BS) or equivalent in
    Environmental Studies, Customer Relations, or a related field from four
    year college or technical school.
  • No prior experience required, but is preferred.

LANGUAGE/MATH/REASONING
ABILITY

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as
    safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure
    manuals. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one
    and small group situations to customers or employees of the organization.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide
    in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and
    decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and
    interpret bar graphs.
  • Ability to apply common sense understanding to
    carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
    Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in
    standardized situations.
COMPUTER SKILLS
  • Intermediate personal computer skills,
    including electronic mail, routine database activity, word processing,
    spreadsheet, graphics, etc.
  • Email, Microsoft Office, job task
    applications, internet, LabLink.

Physical Demands

Work Environment
  • Well-lighted, heated and/or air-conditioned
