To develop, grow and manage all related activities of our automotive refinish business for Automotive Art in the assigned territory, using the portfolio of products and objectives established by your Manager. You will be responsible for selling to collision repair shops on features, benefits and value propositions of our solution and the marketing objectives that have been set for territory. In addition, you will be required to monitor and control the sales and profitability of your territory in terms of meeting sales growth and market share objectives. Critical to the success of this position will be the development of sales by means of executing sound marketing initiatives, expansion of the product offerings in key accounts.


Qualifications:



  • Minimum of two years industry experience.

  • Fluent in both Spanish and English an asset.                                                 

  • Ability to communicate assertively and manage a variety of customer experiences effectively.

  • Consistent communication with store-based team members across devices and platforms is expected.


Primary Responsibilities:



  • Recruit and establish body shops for the company's portfolio of products in your designated territory.          

  • Prospect new customers, service existing customers (using Tech Reps where necessary), and update Store Supervisor on accounts in the area.         

  • Provide the highest standard of courteous service to each customer through expert technical advice and product knowledge delivered in a prompt and timely manner.                                           

  • Visit body shop customers in your designated territory on a regular basis (depending on needs and strategy to grow revenues). Maximize sales by explaining the features, benefits and value proposition, of Automotive Art Refinish System.                                         

  • Coordinate with Store Supervisor daily deliveries to customers based on a delivery schedule developed by customer category.                                   

  • Manage the weekly or monthly Accounts Receivable collections depending on credit terms in conjunction with the Accounts Department.                                    

  • Sustaining, monitoring and enhancing of your territory's profitability. Implementation of business strategies to achieve acceptable growth and profits.                             

  • Development of new categories, as outlined by the Terrirtory Manager/President, so as to increase overall market share, sales and profitability.                                  

  • A 'prospecting to becoming a trusted business advisor' customer approach to developing the product portfolio, including:



  1. Relationship building.

  2. Ensuring that territory objectives are being met, and that the brands being handled are entrenched in the market.

  3. Providing feedback on competitive pricing.

  4. Gross profit management relative to the territory.

  5. Issues related to sales, marketing, advertising and distribution of products within your territory.

  6. Planning and implementing customer diversification and growth strategies for territory.                   



  • Conducting day to day sales calls on customers in order to entrench the company's position with the existing customer base, as well as expanding and developing new customers.                                          

  • Consistently update SalesForce when strategic objectives are met after each call and/or site visit.

  • Facilitating training of customers on issues pertaining to our solutions through demonstrations on customer location, seminars, or training by Technical Representatives.                                     

  • Work with body shops customers on the correct use of Automotive Art Refinishing System, color tools and other paint related materials. This includes assisting customers with setup of mixing system, color software and ensuring that they understand and are comfortable in using products as per technical data sheets and are obtaining suitable results and productivity. Liaise with Technical Representative as needed.                                          

  • Advising customers on product options, performance features and benefits, and technical data as it relates to the portfolio of products being managed.                                          

  • Assist management in gathering competitor activities, prices and market intelligence and in making recommendations on price and marketing strategies to optimize profitable sales growth in the territory.   

  • Make recommendations to management on new products required to fit market needs.                              

  • Keep your knowledge of automotive refinish products current at all times and demonstrate your dedication by constantly refining your selling technique.                                          

  • Follow-up with customers to confirm that they are achieving good results with the use of our refinishing products.                                         

  • Liaising with your Manager in implementing any proposed advertising strategies.                                      

  • Perform other tasks as assigned by Manager.
